Aid for Japan

March 2011

Employees in all B&J locations are donating for the victims of the catastrophy in Japan
Earthquakes and tsunamis, followed by a volcano eruption and a nuclear accident; the whole world is stunned as it follows the dramatic events in Japan, as is the company B&J Rocket, market leader for retreading tools, with its numerous partners in Asia, among them also in Japan. “We have many Japanese Business partners with whom we are closely connected for decades”, explains Andreas Muller, Managing Director of B&J Rocket. This is why the employees in all subsidiaries were keen to help immediately and started an internal campaign for donations for the victims and surviving dependants in Japan. B&J Rocket is providing this aid immediately and has already announced further support in terms of special prices for recovery of stocks.
“Factory workers as well as colleagues from the sales offices have all joined the campaign within their possibilities”, Muller states proudly, “This way they demonstrate their solidarity with the people in Japan who have lost everything.”
The amount donated was rounded off by the company to 5,000 US dollars. By recommendation of one of the Japanese partners the money will be forwarded directly to the local Red Cross branch.
